Meghashree Borah of Sankardev Shishu Bidya Niketan in Lakhimpur district of Assam obtained the first position in the HSLC examination.
Meghashree Borah hit the record appearing the exam, conducted by Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA), from Narayanpur Sankardeva Shishu Bidya Niketan along with 36 other students of the School. She is the daughter of late Gakul Chandra Borah, who was an Indian Army personnel, and Bonti Saikia Borah, a subject teacher in Naoboicha Junior College, permanent residents of Ward No. 1 of Narayanpur town. As per result, Meghashree Borah made the outstanding result securing 97 in Assamese, 97 in English, 100 in General Mathematics, 100 in General Science, 100 in Social Science and 100 in Advance mathematics. The grand total of her marks is 594 with 99 percentage.
